Chilean Miners Rescue Sweep

Blatantly stolen from another forum I visit.....

They reckon that it could be anywhere between 30 and 60 days before the trapped miners in Chile are finally rescued. On what date do you think the FIRST man will be brought to the surface.

I just hope they don't choke the miners to death with this plan to widen the existing hole and have the miners clean up the debris falling out the bottom. I mean what could go wrong with that?
As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.
