Hi all...
I was wondering if any of you in the Helsinki-area would be interested in joining a Book club, reading books in English?
The idea is that a group of us would read a common book, then gather once a month to discuss. The book clubs I have been in before usually end up in wine-drinking sessions, but are fun nonetheless.
Of course I am open to suggestions, but perhaps each month we could read a different genre (modern literature, classic literature, non-fiction, biography, etc... it is all up to us).
If you are interested, PM me and we can start planning.
I hope to hear from you!
Book club anyone?
Sounds good
Hi,
I really would like to join the club if you are still planning to do it. Let me know if you are doing it.

Just in case you are looking for a Book Club (and maybe some English language brush-up at the same time), the Finnbrit society has a course starting this month that might interest you: http://www.finnbrit.fi/courses.html
(scroll down to "The Book Club - a Discussion Course") You can email or phone Finnbrit for more details.
