I´ve been wondering same thing; why there is no KFC in Finland? Well, there is no KFC in any Nordic countries! Closest one is in Amsterdam, Holland.
I asked the possibility for that from KFC Hq. Answer was that I could start my own if I want to. To be a franchising partner. I asked what it requires?
They will help me with everything; finding store, to obtain furniture and all other stuff needed.
All that friendly assistance would cost me $1million in cash and $2million in stockings... Well I didn´t have that kind of money available that time, so I decided to start make my own southern-style-finger-licking-good-deep-fried-chicken.
I found great receipe in the internet and , I tell ya; those were good-a! I´m still licking my fingers..:)

Well, we don´t have Burger King, Taco Bell, Denny´s, Jack in the Box, Bonanza,... and we can live with it. Ain´t it nice to go visit some other countries and enjoy those places? It tastes much better if you have to work for it little bit! ..And then come back here to eat those kebab´s and stuff...

Mmm... Somehow those are not places I would dream of going to eat in when going abroad.
Lacks individuality and... Dunno, some hard to explain originality.

I am not against eating at fast food places as such, but I like to experiment things which are less chainbased. Say Japanese "fast food" can be interesting experience.

Burger king? Not so. Burger is a burger. But then again, maybe absence of those chains in Finland has failed to program me to salivate at thought.

Great news BK comes to Finland. Miles better than Hesburger and Mcdonalds. Now I can eat my favourite Bean burger more often than once a year

Morrissey's got some real good advice as to what you can do with hamburgers...

They're vile, no matter what the chain is. And I'm not a veggie.

But Jukka, surely you noticed I was referring to the chain products... no doubt, if one makes them at home, they can actually have some taste in them. Personally, however I've never understood what the fuss is about "the thicker they are the better". What's the point?

Thought so but wanted an excuse to post that video. ;)

Mozza disappeared up his own arse so long ago I don't think he's coming back. But I'm sure even he would approve of a BK Bean burger.

Apparently the answer is in the negative :D But children and teenagers seem to be drawn towards the stuff. Does BK also endorse the old "collect plastic toys" strategy to attract customers? Oh well...

With the exception of PizzaHut BK is the best of the US chains present in the UK (MacDonalds / KFC / Wimpy). Spicy bean burgers are extremely good, and it's very hard to reproduce veggie burgers of the same standard at home without a !"#¤% load of preparation.

Last month whilst over in the USandA, we were introduced by my sister-in-law's husband to the delights of TacoBell. Easy to understand why many Septics are so vast, I could easily eat those bean burrittos every day of the week. Absolutely delicious.

Having exchanged opinions about what is good tea, I wouldn't trust your taste  :D

Meh. I won't be darkening their doorway anytime soon, but undoubtedly many will. Maybe they're ok if you just expect fast food. But essentially, IMO, it's a bit like being asked which is better, Pepsi or Coke... when both are horridly sweet mass-produced fizzy drinks. (Just an opinion.)

On a more general level, one might ask - do we need another fast food chain...

Yes, if it is fast. I have had trouble with the usual suspects as they are redefining the word fast. Three smiley girls selling burgers as fast as they can and one pimply faced nerd trying to make them, compared to one girl selling and two more cooking like mad at local Chinese... that is no contest. I quite like McD's coffee though...

Wow! which one are you going to?... the nearest ones to me are always grumpy... and slow... and make a mistake in about 25% of the orders (but that could be the English bit)
