Well, it's been like this for ages... and it's not restricted to spoken word... look at the so-called graffiti around Helsinki, most of the stuff that at least tries to convey some message in the form of words is "in English" (and about 99% of all graffiti is merely idiotic 'tags' which just looks plain awful, no matter what the "graffiti artists" themselves say...)

I guess using the old mother tongue would not carry enough street cred. :roll: I refuse to believe they'd all be made by English-speakers of the area.

But occasionally this coin has its hilarious side. Some memorable graffitis I've spotted during the years include

DEAHT

and

Do yuu want die?
