Hi there.
I've applied for the above mentioned degree programme an would like somebody to help me find math exam samples. I tried to google, but found only broken links.
This topic, probably, might be helpful for other applicants

Thanks in advance

I've also applied for the same program at Lahti UAS and some sample or past test papers would be very helpful in preparation for the entrance exam.

The math isn't bad. Brush up on percentages and the like and you should be fine.
The essay, I believe, changes each exam. And the interview changes topic as well.
I took and passed the exam this summer, studied all kinds of things all really for nothing.
**** that and **** you

I also received the invite by email on the 29th. Still waiting for the letter by mail. Reading the different posts on this forum, I think the exam will be quite general, and not too difficult.

i'm a student of Haaga-Helia International Business in Porvoo. for the maths part i would say it's important that you know percentage, tax, currency exchange, margin and a bit of probability as far as i can remember. but the most of it was percentage calculations. also some logical thinking, all without calculator. it's not actually a big deal, for me the time was a bit short though. the essay will probably be something about the current economic situation and i guess this time they will provide some pre-reading material as well(we had to do the reading on the exam, it was a pain in the ass). the interview is just some general talk but the guy was taking notes all the time, no idea what type of people they are looking for, really. especially that there was 15-20 minutes for 3 people, cannot really see anybody's personality that well in such a short time. but i must say that the school is MUCH better than the exam was, i'm honestly glad that i made it to Porvoo instead of Pasila after all! : ) lovely people and (mostly) great teachers...a lot of work but a nice place to be. good luck with the exam, i hope i could help!!

Thank you for your answer!
It's strange, but there's no pre-reading matirial by now.
Did you apply to Porvoo as your 1st. option? My order of preference is Pasila, Porvoo, LAMK.
Number of applicants, first preference / all: 868/1380
Student intake: 40
OMG, 20+ people/place........

I think the interview is mainly just to test your spoken English proficiency.

They gave us softball questions. Why did you choose Haaga-Helia? What do you want to do in the future? Things like that, easy stuff.
