Does anyone know if there is car banger racing up here in Rovaniemi? I would like to know if I can join a club that does it, but google doesnt seem to show many results in english.

I'm sure it exists. At least we found some cars there when we wanted some a few years ago. I doubt you would find anything in English though.
What were you searching for in Google? I think banger racing is called "everyman's class" when translated from the Finnish, so try searching for jokamies or something like that. Maybe someone else can provide a better search term.
If you still can't find anything, I would expect the folks who organise the Arctic Rally in Rovaniemi could put you in touch with the right people. The Arctic Rally organisers would certainly be easy to find.
