So what interest is that to the university? They're full of smelly hippies anyways.

Other question is applying for a residence permit, as unlike universities, the immigration people don't like their hippies, smelly or not.

When you are applying for a residence permit, things like this (passport, insurance, bank statement, what have you) are of course necessary. But we're talking about documents one is supposed to enclose in the UAS study application, aren't we?

Yes, that's quite likely - but then again, the issue is even more "interesting" since if these students who go to consultancies do not know English well enough to understand the application instructions, how on Earth would they be able to follow higher education in that language in the first place? :(

There are a lot of those people who leave no stone unturned for a chance to settle in the developed world. There are also a lot of those who want to utilize the education subsidy. Admission test is a good means of differentiating between these two types of people.

a 5-second googling would get you to:
http://www.studyinfinland.fi/
work your way from there!
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

I'm planning to apply in Finland UAS's for 2011-12 period. I've passed high school, and I'm eligible for university admission in my home country. I'd like an answer from a non-EU/EEA applicant who got his application succesfully processed and was invited for the admission test.

What I'm looking for is a list of documents required to apply.
why i sense that ure from turkey?:P
the documents u need to send is in www.admissions.fi
If you're not *sure* about what u send, you can mail to polytechnics u want, they answer in 1 day or so

good luck

Practically all vocational education is in Finnish (or swedish)? So if you can manage to get diploma, then you should manage the language?
