A League 2 side at home is a tough draw, but the plucky Reds almost snatched something.

Oh, Liverpool. Oh, Woy.

Quote of the day from former Finland coach Antti Muurinen (sacked with immediate effect after 4-0 home defeat to Holland in 2005).

Muurinen ei halua ottaa suoraa kantaa Baxterin asemaan maajoukkueen luotsina. HJK-valmentajalla on kuitenkin periaatteellinen näkemys asiaan.

- Suomalaista maajoukkuetta pitää johtaa suomalainen valmentaja, se on minun mielipiteeni, Muurinen sanoo.

If this isn't "offering a direct opinion on the matter", I'm not sure what is. :D

Some quite juicy chants coming from the North Bank crowd last night, especially after the final whistle.

Baxter should have stepped back after the humiliating 2-0 vs- Moldova.
Maybe Finland should start to understand why not even the England team has an English or British trainer/coach.
Here in Finland, I have done everything I can to blend-in with the Finns, I've changed my hair color, wore differnet clothes, got different

Depends if you mean being in Naples vs Helsinki right now, or facing the boot vs facing the boot + £3m with which to wipe away your tears.

Possibly. Maybe his Missus said if you don't bring home £160,000 a week you might just as well pack your bags and run off with that hussy with the big bazongas.
What's 160 grand a week over five years?
A couple of decent midfielders at least, I'd imagine.
But Manure have money to burn, don't they?

They don't???? Sayitain'tso!

I wonder what new chants the Stoke City fans are going to come up with.
