Yep I'm with Debora, Mediverkko and Seure. Never got anything from them. I was registered with HUS for keikka as well, I got two offers for Hyvinkä a few years back but they required fluent written and spoken Finnish once again.

Are you sure you have exhausted all channels of using this qualification?
Well yes and no. For personal reasons i m a bit stucked in the city where i live, which a quite small city.(My girlfriend has a very good job here and doesnt even want to think about moving, and the baby is in a very very nice kindergarten) The closest more or less big cities are Oulu (3hours), Jyvaskyla (3 hours) and Vaasa (2hours) ;). They are looking for Phd or Master students in Jyvaskyla in a subject very close to my thesis but i dont see myself doing the trip everyday. I will try to contact them and ask if its possible to maybe go there 2 days per week for the lab stuff and working home for the writing. But i guess the answer will be no anyway. I wouldnt accept it if i was a supervisor.
And then.what to do with a Phd? school teacher? Never...

In the other hand they are looking for nurses here. But again studying 4 years? well if i have to...ill do it.

Also here its more chemichal environment than biodiversity conservation, Might sound the same for the novices but its quite different job.

I also have possiblities to study chemical environment but there are more job offers in nursing than in environment. Even if im sure that the world will be more and more in need of environmentalists. and nurses too

Lets see.the application starts in two months. I still have time.

ok so i applied for nursing school, passed the tests and been accepted.
so now of course i have a couple of questions.

Is it possible to be graduated in 3 years or less? for example if i do a maximum of exams as fast as i can, especially the theory (I have a masters degree in biology so i think some of the courses might be easy, maybe im wrong lets see)

I am registred on basis of family ties. When i m going to study will i receive the opintotuki or the unemployment money? I already asked Kela and the job office but those human robots didnt give me a very clear answer. My guess would have been that i get the opintotuki. But im still able to work 25h per week so i should find a job while studyin...sounds difficult if i cant even find one while being jobless. (i mean a long term job. i have been working for the past year but different small jobs all the time)

The idea of going back to Belgium has crossed my mind....i try to weight the pros and cons (without baby here the decision would have been extremely easier)

My guess too.

The 25 hour rule relates to students with a "study RP". Since you have a "family ties RP" the limitation should not apply to you.
Off course working long hours can have a negative impact on your study.

You might even qualify for a study loan, depending on your situation.

You'll find it very difficult to gaduate earlier than planned. you can't do for example Surgical placement without completing the first year courses. I would say the only courses you can do faster are the elective ones. It works by level, you can't attend course B without course A.

Where are you going to study?

well, then you more experienced than me ...but anyway..you will get compensations but it is quite difficult if certificate is from abroad..i have also studied bsc. degree in agric-economics from my homecountry..and didnt even get any compensation but if in cou, surely get some compensation with ease as some of my colleagues did...but really i also speak quite good finnish and have certificate even from the vocational school but still had to take finnish course again..well, as has been said cant jump to B without completing A...nursing doesnt work that way..and prepare quite alot for schedule changes..and ooh, prepare to struggle abit anatomy and physiology coz it doesnt matter what you write but who grades it...and that person is the best lecturer in suomi when it comes to that field..have to link up and dont rely soo much on your expectations coz it may come at price...anyway is your choice..goodluck

well, to answer your question if you really had made your homework really well ..and dunno if you have the chance still..but can always try..esimerkiksi en saa opintotukea mutta kuitenkin saan molemmat työttömyystuki ja lisääkorvaus(678e)---on isompi kuin opintotuki(260+300(laina))...i am also on family based residence and been in finland for 3years..but can make your homework well..coz we had to do quite good paper work...but remember that comes with lots of paperwork...
