physiotheraphy in english

Post by bluemoon » Tue Nov 02, 2010 2:30 am

Hi,
I found topic about studying physiotheraphy in Finnish, but it didn't help me.
Could you tell me, which university offer studying physioteraphy in english (i think about bachelor dagree)? I'm study physioteraphy in another country (in my native language), but i want to go to student exchange (or sth), and i need find some school with english (language of instruction). It will be great, if this school have some ski departament or it is near some ski resort. Maybe you know this type of school (physioteraphy + ski) in Norway or Sweden ( but i prefer to move to Finland  )?
Can you give me some advice?

Satakunta University of Applied Sciences: http://www.samk.fi/applicants/degree_pr ... in_english

I doubt it's near any ski resorts though.

thanks,
i found that there are some ski slope near Pori (Ruosniemi and Hittenharju) but i have no idea about their level of difficulty, i'll try to know more later

i'm curious to know, do you have some kind of University Sports Association?
it's important, because sometimes uiversity haven't section/departament of skiing (or another sport), but they connect with this kind of association, and you can practise your sport and to represent university on competition...
:lightbulb:

Pori? Look at the map, silly. Finland is flat. The only ski slopes are... slopes. You find them on every hillside, 100 meters or two. Like in Jyväskylä where the first university is theres Laajavuori... And there is no "university sports" here unless you count in floating down a river in an inner tube drunk.

i've never been in Finland, so i don't know where is flat and where isn't.
you've a very good proskier, so i thought, that they had to train somewhere.

i suppose, you don't know anything about my country to (not even more than me about yours)

i ask because i want to know more, but unfortunataly i will have to change my decision about move if u have only slopes... :?

Well as you so eloquently put it; "I'm study physioteraphy in another country (in my native language)" - from which we can deduce its a country that doesn't teach the children geography nor English. As you call slalom "skiing" that means it is a country where people historically have had little Heidi frolicking with goat-Pete in the mountains but has gotten television wintersports only randomly, as Finland is known for hockey, ski jumping and a little doping scandal maybe.

Somewhere with mountains usually, unless you count Pyhä or Ruka.
