G'day Derek, maybe you should double check those names because no one is likely to be named Aero. It's probably Eero, yeah?
Also is the family name Komonen instead of Komonenn?
These things matter if you intend to find them.
If you are on facebook, try searching through the Komonens there, then maybe try randomly messaging the older ones.
Just a thought...

Also, your grandfather would be "Ukki" to you, this means he is, specifically, your grandfather. Could there possibly be some confusion over his actual name?

Or you could post your message to the Finlander Forum, which is hosted by the Genealogical Society of Finland.

There is also Komosten sukuseura (Komonen Family Society); maybe the board could help you. Pentti Heikkinen seems to be the one, who is responsible for family history research.

According to this site, Harri Kekki is also a family history researcher.

Found 1 Eero Komonen from Sonera finder:

****ADMIN EDIT DELETEED****
PLEASE DON'T POST PERSONAL DETAILS.

Don't know if that's the right person but it may be a good start.

You should not put names and contact details of a person on here... bad form  ... show them a link of the tool where they can find it.

OK, but it is still bad form to post names and contact details of someone else on a forum (even if your are trying to help)

Did you find what you were looking for? I am Komonen from my mom's side and I know they have done a very detailed family history research. All of the Komonen's or Kommonens are related, so that means we are prob. related too ;) anyhow, if you need any more help, write again here. The komosten sukuseura that someone mentioned will surely be able to help, they even have a family emblem and a magazine called Komosten nuotta.

(I am not dessa by the way, but his wife, but I'm using his username as he didn't loh out!)

Even if the family name was Jetsonen?
As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.
