Useful info. Sorry to butt in but what wld be your average temperature inside the home. I have a temperature reader, stating both outside and inside temperatures, often showing between 17-19 degress, whilst was told it should be over 20-22 C.
The knob as a range from 1-3.

Maintenance man, very friendly though, cannot solve this problem.

20-22 in the middle of the room, not at the windowsill.

Yeah, I have a similar problem. This year I'm planning to buy an electric heater, though. To have some control...

Guys one doubt, how about the air circulation? During winter we would close all our doors and of course the heaters work to provide sufficient heat in the room but, how to deal with suffocation???

There are various systems, depending when the house was built and how much it has been renovated since. You almost certainly have "holes" near the sealing in WC/bathroom, kitchen and possible walk-in wardrobes. Those are supposed to take air out. Air in might come from from separate valves on the walls, (depending on window frame) valves on the windows, cracks in the window setting or by the entrance door and in many apartment houses largely from where you get your mail through the door.
