Re: sentence for my finnish friends :) help
I'd say "ikimuistoisia hetkiä", as kaunis has the violins and sunset instead of duelling banjoes... also I actually liked Kalmisto's original "kun yhdessä kolusimme Amerikkaa". Thats a bit "road-trip crew memories" style.

I agree on the ikimuistoisia hetkiä, forever-memorable moments.
And I'd never have done 4 edits on my previous post if I'd noticed it already had a successor. At least not for the kinds of little tweaks I was doing.

As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

So in sum, that gets you to:
Suuret kiitokset kaikesta ystävyydestä, avusta ja tuesta kun olimme yhdessä Amerikassa. Minulla oli ikimuistoisia hetkiä kanssanne.

I was going to ask yesterday how old are you and how much love you shared, and by love I was going to imply same that Pursuivant said. Love is much more loaded word in Finnish, especially with the older people. Teens, might be different... nowadays even quite hetero males seem to be loving and kissing each other...

yes i know what you mean...i am 22 yo and i know the importance of this word...the problem is that, even tho i love english, sometimes it has not enough words, for example I LOVE YOU is too general, u can use it with a friend, with your mom and with your wife...maybe affection expresses better what i mean, but affection is not used so often in english..
