C#.NET Contracting in Helsinki

Post by bluezebra » Tue Aug 03, 2010 10:33 pm

Are there any IT contracting opportunities in Helsinki? I am a senior freelance C#.NET website programmer with management, and some design skills as well as experience with EPiServer CMS. I would prefer to continue my freelance career, I already have a limited company based in the UK but would consider a full time role if not enough freelance work around.

I am English and moving with my Finnish wife this Autumn, I don't speak Finnish, yet! But am willing to study when I'm living there.

Hi,

Contracting is best in Uk, but in finland its quite scarce. Im a Junior C# developer ,but more on the winforms database side. I lived in Uk for 2 years. I now live in finland for the past 3 weeks :?: . In Finland getting an IT job is like playing the national lottery  . I woud advice you to look for permanent opportunities in Teliasonera, Siemens, Nokia(QT, Sym, C++), and many more out there .

Also apply in www.Barona.fi. Its an IT recruitment company , they have a lot of opportunities for Senior C# developers in Hesinki, Tampere and Turku. You can contact "Raita Ovaska". Quoting my name as reference would be good  .

If you have 1+ year(s) experience in Microsoft Dynamics(any module) or if you know anyone who do, let me know. I know a few companies urgently looking for Dynamics developers or consultants. (Finnish skills would be an advantage but not required  ).

Cheers !

Thanks Daniel

I see monster.fi is also good, you can register on the co.uk site first then just need a little help on the finnish site which is not in english..

I might be getting some freelance work from the UK so am not going full out looking for work yet and see what is about instead..
