I'm thinking of coming to Finland to live with my family while I study. I have Finnish nationality, but haven't lived here before.
I have a piece of software I have been selling online for a while.
Usually, when you have income you have different obligations (taxes / medical insurance / etc) than when you make no money.
What I'm wondering is: is it worth it to sell this product I created, even if I just make 300 Eur a month?
In some European countries to be able to sell something, you have to pay social security, which costs over 300 Eur / month.
So in that case it's better to be unemployed than to make little money, which I find unfortunate. That's why some
young people in Germany prefer to not have a job: working hard for 8 hours a day they might get X, and being
unemployed they might get 0.9X in state aid... But that's another topic.
So do you know if is it possible to be generating just a bit of money to pay food etc. in a way that it doesn't all
disappear in taxes and other obligations?
Thanks!
