Post by kelsen » Mon Dec 13, 2010 7:19 am

Hi guys, may I know where is the best place that I can shop for floorball stick in Tampere? Or someone would like to sell his second hand floorball stick?
I'm looking for a 92cm floorball stick for amateur and i hope the stick come with a sling bag so that it's easier for me to carry.

Can someone show me some online catalog if possible? I can't read finnish, can't really google from google.fi nor any finnish language website >.<
Your help is pretty much appreciated!

Even the big supermarkets like Prisma sell a range of floorball sticks and bags. You could also try Stadium, Budget Sport, Intersport etc

My son has an Exel (I think they are made in Finland) and it probably came from Prisma (can't remember). No idea about prices though. You could try places like UFF and Fida for a second-hand stick.

By the way, make sure you get right/left-handed stick depending on whether you are right or left-handed...

I'm right-handed! I'm actually from Malaysia, used to stayed in Tampere during my student exchange for a year and I love the country and the place so much. I was thinking to pick up something that i used to have there, floorball will be the best symbol for me. I have a friend now in Tampere as well and she is coming back soon, just thought of getting 1 or 2 stick with some equipment back here to Malaysia and start playing with some rare floorball player here. So please tell me if you really have some nice place to buy the suitable stick for me, 92cm, right handed with a reasonable budget... Thanks!

You can get longer one too, just show it some saw... I think that few cms won't matter too much regarding the stiffness.

Do not go for second hand sticks unless they are of very high quality..... you could get them from a supermarket...if your budget is this much try looking for ads on sporting goods website they might be selling a second hand yet sturdy floorball stick
