Can someone please explain what are the clauses for issuing an open-ended work contract.
I heard from someone "If employer issues an open-ended work contract. So he only requires 6months of advance notice to end the contractual agreement" otherwise there is no difference from normal time-framed contract.
Can some lead me to some solid reference regarding this.
I need to convince my employer to issue me an open ended contract, which has obviously multiple benefits

What are clauses behind open-ended contract?

With open-ended contracts the notice period depends on the length of the duration of the work. Six months applies only if it has lasted more than 12 years.
I think the main difference between the two is that the employer needs to have a acceptable reason for terminating an open ended contract, he needs no special reason not to renew a temporary contract.

Heyy, wot do you actually mean by 'benefits' please? Does open-ended contract make any difference when you're working? I so wish to know that, please share your ideas regarding that contract if you don't mind?
Thanks

Benefits... some union rules regarding redundancy etc. as stated. Then if you are getting something, be it Kela card or bank loan, "you have a job". With end date that is the date you dont have a job. Its like being born with your death date on the certificate.

I guess you get the answer from the previous post. In addition you can get A status visa which ultimately gives pseudo-Kela benefit. But ya its better....
