I'm a 20-year-old girl from Japan.
I would like to study in polytechnic in Finland. However, my parents are so strict and gave me just one chance to try for the entrance exam. I would like to study International Business in Haaga-Helia.
They have 2 times to apply in a year. One entrance exam is in October which they take 40 students both in Pasila and Porvoo, and anoter is in April which they take 72 students in Pasila. If I apply to the exam in April, I can apply to other 3 schools as well, but I guess lots of Finnish students will apply there, so it might be more difficult to get in,,, right? The applicants are more in October every year though.
It would be nicer to study in Pasila, but it is ok with Porvoo as well. I know one one girl who studies in Pasila but the style of exam has been changed when she took, so I would like to know how difficult it is now for foreigners and when I should apply. I really really want to get this chance!
I have to decide when I take the exam in a few days because I have to decide I'll skip university to ready for the exam or not. Please help me.
Thanks
