Hello,
I spent great time in Finland last month with my Finnish friend, so now I'd like to return the favor my friend gave me. ....

My advice would be not to ask the opinion of strangers on a forum, but to listen to the opinion of your friend. She's told you what will make her feel comfortable, and you should respect her wishes I think. If someone gives you something when it is not required of them, it's nice to at least have the option to give something back. Why not just give your address?

Thanks for the advice! It helped a lot.
I felt quite awkard to give my address to her at the moment. But you're right, I had forgotten something quite important

She will not give you anything she does not want to give. People give when they want to give, and when it makes them feel good. If she sends you something you don´t have to feel that you have to do the same. A simple thank you is enough.

Thanks for the opinion. I was just bit of worried if she would feel like that as you said.EP wrote:She will not give you anything she does not want to give.
