rough salary guide??
I have interviews with some international IT companies but noticed that there is no salary quoted in the job details. I understand that the salary is negotiable. Does anyone here know what the going rate/guideline for salaries for IT Consultant Managers (Testing) are. I know they are not going to be anywhere near what I was earning in the UK but I dont wont to start negotations for salary on an unrealistic footing.

Dunno, 2500 in Finland, as they pay a tester 3500 as the "manager" doesnt know how to test.

Obviously depends on your experience, the number of direct reports etc but I would say somewhere between 3 and 4K per month. (Assuming its not with Nokia)
Dont forget when calculating the comparison with the UK to use 13 months.

Nokia are known for paying less because everyone wants to work for them and therefore they don't need to pay as much to attract the right people, Although not sure that is still the case these days, anyone looking for a secure future might not consider Nokia a good betkappu wrote:DaveObviously depends on your experience, the number of direct reports etc but I would say somewhere between 3 and 4K per month.
