Engineer Wages?

Hi,

I am considering moving to Finland, but am very concerned about the high cost of living and any possible salary drop I would have to endure.

I am a semiconductor hardware engineer (basically an electronics/mechanics hardware engineer).



Can anyone please offer some idea of the level of wages engineers receive in Finland?

a chip architecture's salary can be 7k+ in total compensation package :) , a MSc engineer can start with 3500 euro, a trainee can be 2800 and an eager job hunter might agree to work with 2k only... Very depends on your luck.
