Hi.
I'm working on an associates degree in nursing, which I hear is useless in Finland.
I'm currently attempting to teach myself Finnish from books and CDs.
I plan on getting a BSN at the University of Minnesota. They offer beginner, intermediate, and advanaced Finnish language classes that I'm going to take.
I want to move to Finland as soon as I'm done and become a nurse and get my master's degree.
Would an associates and BSN from the USA get me a job as a nurse in Finland?
Also I plan to work as an RN at a hospital while I'm getting my BSN, so I'll have about three or four years of experience.
Thanks!
American nurse in Finland
Re: American nurse in Finland
If you learn the language and you have a degree in nursing you're pretty much sure of a job.
There's a big need for nurses in this country (although you find that most of the current nurses are complaining about the salary).
