I'd be mostly interested why are they paying late. If it is a large company maybe they have same computer system as our defence forces (which have been suffering from the problem lately), but otherwise it would seem either the employer is extremely sloppy or is close to bankruptcy. Neither sounds very good.

As such I think you should likely get interest for the late payments, but it would not be much and be subject to your TES.

Not necessarily close to bankruptcy but most likely (temporarily) out of funds... not necessarily too alarming if the employer is a small business. All it takes is one big client to pay their bill late.
