Hi,
Are chicken sausages available in the market...if yes what are they called in Finnish.
Are vegetarian sausages(eg made of soyabean, tofu or cheese) available as well and what are they called in Finnish?
If you have seen these in the stores can you please suggest me the name of the brand and what do I need to look for.
Regards,
Sanam
Where to find Chicken and Vegetarian Sausages.
Re: Where to find Chicken and Vegetarian Sausages.
There are sausages At least of the small "nakkimakkara" variety) made of poultry "meat" sold in most supermarkets. They do not generally visibly advertise the fact there is no "proper meat" in them, but you'd have read the contents listing (broilerinlihaa I think is the term)
Soy sausages too, are at least in any medium size or larger size supermarkets. Not likely next to normal sausages, but next to vegetables in the frozen food section.

Soy in Finnish is soija, and tofu is tofu
Other product you will see sold next to them is falafel
