Hi,
Just wanted to know if its really true that Registered nurses have better chances of getting a job in Helsinki than Practical nurses? Whats the salary difference between the two?
Thanks in advanced!
Sairanhoitaja or Lähihoitaja

Not really true, its easy to get a job if you are a nurse or a practical nurse. Although a slightly pay differences but only about 200euros

sairaanhoitaja...so can first check the spelling..i am not in the capital though eventhough i am still studying to be a sairaanhoitaja myself ...prospect of securing job as a registered nurse totally outweighs that of practical or enrolled nurse...1900e for lähihoitaja and 2500euros for sairaanhoitaja but it all boils down to how well you know finnish language....i am quite fluent but yet struggling to find part time job...taistelu jatkuu...battle continues

Sairaanhoitaja have more responsibilities hence better pay. But without FLUENT and I insist on the fluent, you won't get a job.
Lähihoitaja on the other hand seem to get jobs easily even with very poor Finnish as they don't deal with the reports or handling medication.
