The idea is to head out on a friday evening with a few supplies, a tent and a sleeping bag. We cycle Nuuksio-way for no longer than 25-30 kms and then find a spot to set up camp. Then we grill a few makkara, have a couple of beers, chat, go to bed, and then head back home after breakfast so that everyone still has their week-end ahead of them!
My mate Lee and I tried this out a couple of times last autumn and absolutely loved it! So we decided to set up a blog to explain the idea and organise the outings. On there you will see that the first sub-24 of the year will be taking place on Friday 6th May.
The idea is not to show off and compete on the bikes. We will base our speed on the slowest rider and want to help one another. So don't be scared of feeling left out because your bike is not worth a fortune or if you don't know how to fix a puncture. Everyone is welcome!
So, ready to join us?
