Business trip question...

Post by radosl81 » Fri Oct 07, 2011 8:23 pm

Hello everyone. First, sorry for my english. I know, it is not so good, but i'll try to ask what i want. I am working in Finland, last 4 years, with permanent contract. Now, my employer offered me a business trip to Estonia, for two months. So, I need your expertise concerning paying Daily Allowance to staff who are on business trip outside Finland. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

The finnish tax office sets a maximum amount of daily allowance that you can receive without paying tax on it. I would ask for that. This doesn't include accommodation or travel, just food, etc.

Estonia 48.00 Euros.

Yes, i already read, the info of that link. But, does that mean, that there isn't any law wich says minimum or maximum per diem, for business trip? Also is there anything like "an order for a business trip" wich a personnel department issues? Any information for business trip regulations is welcome. Kiitos

The companies that I've worked for have already paid the rate. Your HR department will have rules about it.
