Residence Permit for Spouse and Kids

Hi All,
I applied for residence permit from New delhi, India last month for my wife and 2 kids, I am still waiting for the decision, Generally my collegues got the approval couple of months back in 6 weeks, but now when i called they are staying there is long queue and it will take time.
Actually my wife is pregnant and i want her to come here to the earliest as i can take care of the kids, So my question is should i tell the migri about the pregnancy or should i wait, we can wait for 1 more month before it is too late.
Did someone has gone through the similar situation then please let me know how should i proceed, any advice will be really appreciated.

You applied during the application period for new students. They get priority and you must wait. So it indeed can take a while.

So my question is should i tell the migri about the pregnancy or should i wait,

It can backfire. If they get the feeling your wife wants to come for the medical facilities, they can delay the application until your wife is unable to travel.

Remember also that extra child means extra 450e in your needed income.
