Looking for work, Tampere.

Post by aguinness » Fri Dec 02, 2011 4:36 pm

I am a 37 year old male who has been living in Finland for 12 years. I currently live in Tampere and am studying a degree in environmental engineering (3rd year of 4 ). I have many years of Bar/ Restaurant experience, have worked in a bakery, hardware store and am a qualified electrician (Ireland). I have a good understanding of Finnish but speak it badly, amd am a native English speaker. I have hygiene and alcohol certs and a Finnish B driving licence and my own car. I am willing to consider anything as I have too much free time and could really do with the money. I have exhausted all my usual contacts as regards temp/part time work. Thanls in advance.

Have you thought to get finnish qualifications, shouldnt be too hard to do in "evening education". I dont know if there is much differences if you dont count that leprechaun what causes problems is changed to tonttu. Rules of electricity stay even if we pass borders, its blue and it hurts.
Those credits and numbers can be costly tho if you dont get someone like mol to pay :(

Hi Onkko, I have considered getting my electrical qualifications recognised here, but have decided not to as I am already studying a degree and want to continue with that when I graduate, I am looking for something that would bring in money now and keep me busy too :)
