selfemployed person - is unemployment insurance possible?

Hi, I am self-employed, I have OY, and I get regular salary from my OY.

I wonder is it possible to have any unemployment insurance?? for self-employed person ?? What happens if I can not find a contract for my company on some bad day??

(The AYT websites above are in English and the system is very clearly explained. The guidebook (the last link) is excellent. )

Personally I don't contribute into it. I know that I will probably have two months with no work every summer so I arrange my business according to that. I do have some salaried income anyway (from another source), so I doubt if I would qualify for the AYT scheme. But I would certainly recommend you do the calculations to see if it makes sense for you.

I think filecore might be able to give more info on this as I seem to remember he once gave me a leaflet about it.
