Question about passport and stamps
Hi everyone!
I applied today for my first RP at police station in Finland and woman who worked there said that there is no proof of my visiting Finland earlier because I don't have stamps from Finland in my passport. Reason why I don't have the stamps is that I was always coming to Finland via some other EU country and they always gave me stamp just in first EU country that I enter. I'm from Croatia and I'm visa free to Finland and other ...
How I can proof that I was visiting Finland earlier ? (Airplane tickets?) Or is it now too late to send them tickets or other things?
I did search forums but I didn't find anything.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Question about passport and stamps
Applying as a spouse (I don't see how it would otherwise matter)? I would have tickets with me originally, maybe you can take them there later. (depending on situation it does not necessarily matter really)

Re: Question about passport and stamps
He did ask me what problem I have, and why I need proof of visit Finland earlier.
I did answer him in our language.
Aplicirao sam za Residence permit u policiskoj postaji u Finskoj. I posto sam naveo da sam ranije bio u Finskoj, oni su mi rekli da za to nema dokaza posto nema pecata Finske u pasosu (Imam razne druge Madjarsku,Srbiju,Latvija). Imam stare avionske karte, u slucaju da budu trazili.

Hi Dalmatinac,
Other sources of id that can prove your presence in Finland :
Airplane ticket
Visa / Credit Card statement & receipts showing purchases & location
Cell phone statements showing location of calls
Bank transaction receipts
Hope that helps,
Cheers, Pete

Re: Question about passport and stamps
Thanks for your answer Pete, but try avoiding posting in old topics.

Also try to avoid using the letter 'e' -- it drives me up the wall when people use the letter 'e'.
As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

And people say that my posts are sometimes hard to understand... That's a laugh.AldenG wrote:Also try to avoid using the letter 'e' -- it drives me up the wall when people use the letter 'e'.
