There are special "techniques", like the stunning of the chickens that full fill the requirements of both ritual slaughtering and Finnish law.
If they work in practice is a different question.

There is halal meat store in Itäkeskus right by the Mall. They've got good fresh beef and lamb, as well as frozen chickens. Also, some different kinds of salamis. Actually last time i was there they had salami they had made themselves. They also have a big selection of dried herbs.

Halal supplies can be found everywhere!

Salam,
I know a store in Leppavärä (Alberga) it's called Dunia Market for halal meat, they have real good halal lamb and beef fresh every friday, and they have also halal chicken but frozen, and all kinds of arabic groceries. it's o the other side of the road close to Aleppa, you just go down the stairs and look to the right you'll see it. I hope that helped.
