EU Citizen/Former Finnish Citizen = Bureaucratic Limbo

I have removed all of my posts from this forum. Because of these comments. I originally posted hoping to get advice for myself, and those in the same boat who come later. Those people will instead be misled by these inane and inaccurate comments. Vulnerable people in need of advice will turn here and they will get this pointless needless fruitless personal criticism.

Although not every comment is accurate, the general message is clear; "Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. You can encounter some unexpected barriers."
This forum is filled with whining posts of people who were to optimistic about their chances (residence permits, work) and were hit by reality. If you can't take this kind of advice, you're not going to make it in Finland.

There isn't much one can do in your situation at all.. My intention was to try and help others by not encouraging them to make the same mistake.

But woah did you take it the wrong way. I guess I saved you from even bigger disappointment and temper tantrums in the end.

If you can't handle a reply as 'blunt' as that then I guess some would just say "Maybe it was never meant to be".

Deleting your posts was a real small dick mentality thing to do however, the whole point of asking another person's help is that many people can gain from it..

What I gathered from what he posted (before he removed everything) was that he considered himself to be Finnish but isn't officially. But he is an EU citizen officially. It doesn't matter anymore anyway.
