About 8 euro per hour i think, but you should check you contract, that you'll get paid for transition and other things too. I mean, some cleaning companys pay only for a job, and if one aparment are calculated to clean up like 15min, you'll get paid only a 15min for this, and if you spend more time for it, you do not ged payed. And some of the companys won't pay if you move to next house (car or something) no matter how long it takes. I'm not sure is it legal, and i think where is the sense of these ones? nobody want to do work where you clean (and get payed) for 15min and drive to next location like 15min without get payed. so your totally pay is only 4e/hour for these situvations.

So spend time for reading those Contracts carefully and if something is confusing, ask someone of it. But i think otherwise that 8e is like a minimum. maybe could be 7e

Once my friend do cleaning job, and he discovered that one building he get only a paid for a 10min, even the job usually takes like a 20min. So, he just stop doing job so well to get that building in 10min. I'm not sure did he get payed for moving house to house, but this is what you should check in you contract.

he didn't want to do that job anymore, and boss give him a job as full day (8h), where he get payed whole day. In this kind a days cleaning can be profitable.

I think a current average for cleaning atleast in and around melbourne is $17-$20 p/h
But why aussies go to europe is more than money.
Ive beeen around and i reakon atm that AUS pays 5-10% more on average and is 5-10% cheaper to live, on average of-course.This is my current understanding having just come from FIN and now in AUS , but should be in FIN again in the summer.Although you do have cheap broiler brand chicken :)

I did the figures and have summed up the economy while i was in FIN.I think you need to get above 9.50 euro to be above the poor line.I do hear a national consensus that the average FIN does not want to work for under 13 euro, so for 8 euro you are in hot demand i am sure.
