But remember...if you really want to see an aurora, you are almost certainly going to be disappointed...
They are capricious...you have to take what you get. And I would think the further south you are the chances are much greater that you will get a rather faint display. But if you get lucky....well, it is a dramatic and spellbinding experience. I've seen auroras in Canada a few times in my life...and only once was it dramatic....But, boy-o-boy, IT WAS DRAMATIC... Unforgettable!!
