Employment & Business Seminar 2012

Hello Everyone

We have put together an evening for everyone who
is contemplating entering into the world of Finnish
business. We will have talks from a career counselor
from Helsinki University, as well as two businessmen
who have set up their own companies in Finland.

This is a free seminar.

We have around 90 spaces and it is first come
first served. Please sign up here or on Facebook

Eric Carver

Works as a Career Counselor at
the University of Helsinki Career services. He teaches work life orientation and career skills courses to both international and Finnish degree students.

Mike Bradshaw

Is the community shepherd at HammerKit and believes that: "You should not manage a community, only attempt to look after it."
He is also a dis-organiser of BarCamp Helsinki and other un-conferences, as well as a coach at StartupSauna. He also helps out at Hub Helsinki, is a driver with theTravelling Salesman project, an organiser of MobileDevCamp.fi for the last three years, and the holder of a British passport.

Marise Lehto

Originally from New Zealand, Marise Lehto founded Marise Lehto Associates Oy in 2010 and operates in the Varsinais Suomi region. She has a wealth of intercultural and management experience having worked in several foreign countries including Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. For the past 11 years she was employed by a large Finnish language training company in Turku and has become a trusted expert in the corporate language training and coaching sector having established a reputation based on trust, quality and integrity.

Mikko Hollman

Hello,

thank you a lot for the interesting seminar held yesterday, it was really helpful and encouraging to get the basic understanding of business practicalities from non-Finn's point of view.
