Where to buy backpacks?
Where to buy backpacks?
Hey there,
My Eastpak backpack broke after some years (yep, out of warranty) and I've been looking forward to buying a new one. It doesn't have to be Eastpak (I checked where I bought it online last time and prices have doubled!), but just something casual: I use it every day and I wouldn't want to run around with a hiking/cycling backpack.
That said... where can I buy one? I know probably Stockmann will have, but I'm afraid of how expensive it might be and thought you guys should know cheaper places in Espoo/Helsinki.
Cheers,
PS: If you know about Eastpak distributors here in finland, I'm interested in checking what the prices are, just out of curiosity.

I thought Karhu was one of Kesko's own brands (ie only for sale in Citymarket, Kodin Ykkonen, Intersport etc). I guess they just phased the brand out and developed a new one????
But I'm pretty sure I have seen Eastpak around town. You could try Stadium, Intersport etc. Or just buy online:

Re: Where to buy backpacks?
You are out of warranty? Eastpaks have a warranty of 30 years. I got mine fixed at least two times since the zipper broke over time.
Re: Where to buy backpacks?
I read the warranty conditions in the website and zipper problems are not covered after 5 years :/ (you have to pay for the repairs + shipping)einafets wrote:You are out of warranty? Eastpaks have a warranty of 30 years. I got mine fixed at least two times since the zipper broke over time.
Anybody has any experience buying from spartoo?

Partioaitta used to be "the place" but it got overpriced (like everywhere). Online in Finland theres www.eratukku.fi and say www.varusteleka.fi Eastpak I'd hazard off amazon or ebay... they do sell them in Finland, but if you wan to pay your ass off...

There's a new outlet shop opened in Herttoniemi: Outlet 6 (Hitsaajankatu 6) and they sell Eastpak among others. Skate gear at outlet prices, good for the wallet
It's an outlet and stock seems to move quite quickly. Open until at least 18:00 weekdays and 16:00 on Saturdays. https://www.facebook.com/Outlet6/info
I've seen Eastpak in Sokos too.
