Moi,
I am having a job interview at a cafe next week.
This is my first job interview in Finland after being weeks of full time CV mailer.
Although, it is a travel agency job but the most I am worrying about is:
A)-dressing
business suit + white shirt + tie is the only combination I have at the moment, is it overdress?
B)-interview etiquette and taboo
I know the basic stuffs as I ve been thru it in the past where all the interviews were taken inside the company.
But I have never had interview in a CAFE, in public full of distractions where anything could happen.
I have worked in Japan and Japanese interviewers are quite picky on details and I dont know if same thing goes here.
eg. if I show up early, should I grab a table/seat first? or should I wait at the door?
when we both seated, should I order drinks?
C)-expected salary
I have tried to google it but still cannot find much information about basic or average salary for a job in travel agency in Finland.
Has anyone got similar experience or information which could give me a little advice??
thankyou!
have a nice weekend!

Re: Help! Job interview @ cafe
Cafe is usually to make it less formal. But be yourself it's the only way especially if you get the job what else can you be? Answer questions like any other interview but just pause to think about it more. They are a Finnish company? Might want to talk slower English just incase the nerves get the best of you.
The interviewer will be there before you as they have to setup themselves. Don't turn up 30mins early like any other interview. If they offer you a drink or some thing they usually pay.
Good luck and be positive!

Thank you Mark! I feel much relieve now~
They are Finnish company, but my role is just contacting overseas business partners so Finnish skills is not a must.
Just bought a new printer this afternoon in order to have my CV printed.
I used to go to library to use the printing service there but they are costing a lot (0.40EUR/page).
Wish me luck!
