Re: Job situation
"Look in the internet"or is it the usual (we help you write your cv and give you websites).
The only thing you "get" is the blue sign on card that entitles you for benefits... and a headache. They may want you to attend some course to make you more employable, like a Finnish class, but don't necessarily count on it .
"By the pricking of my thumbs,
Something wicked this way comes."

Re: Job situation
If you've live in Finland under 3 years, you should be entiteled for finnish language course. So if you qualify for that, they will send you to language testing first and then they will pick a suitable course for you. Its a long term process though, might take up to 3 or 4 months until you start the course and you should not work full time before that or during that. Otherwise you wont be considered unemployed and will lose the right for the course and other benefits.
And if it has been more than 3 years, then they will just register you and tell you to be active.
