I want to live in Finland

Post by xixu13 » Sat Jul 28, 2012 5:23 pm

I am 21 years old and I work as a chef from Malta. I have 5 years experience in this line. I would like to live in Finland From June 2013. How can i find work in Finland in a restaurant or a Hotel working as a chef?? Is it hard to do so?
I speak English and willing to learn Finnish. I also don't understand how kela works and how it will help me... I am thinking of moving to Helsinki
I also cannot find any sites and estate agents online to find a place to stay.. Can i just apply for the tax card, ID card and all the other stuff??

Thanks..

OK
They are there, but maybe you search in the wrong language?
Yes you can apply, but doubtful you will be successful.

And take some time to read the older posts on this forum, rather than being lazy and just asking questions which have been asked before, many many times. Finland has opportunities, but maybe these come easier to those who are willing to put in some effort :D
Political correctness is the belief that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Find a job first and then worry about all the other stuff later.
