What strikes an odd note, is that you have a Finnish boyfriend, who does not lift a finger to find out info needed. Only you come with your questions forward.

Is it that he is not aware of your plans? Sorry the question but it does seem so.

Couple of additional things that come in to my mind:

Since apparently only has one month validity, you could try if the local police would extend it towards the full three months. It would give you more time for (marriage and) submitting the proper residence permit application (which you should do anyway ASAP, among other things for stopping the need to pay medical expenses from your own pocket. If you are really lucky and the permit comes fast, you might even have a chance for maternity benefits later)

While getting the residence permit is the first priority, I would spend a little it of the weekend also looking at the local opportunities to study Finnish. It is one of the few useful things you can do without a residence permit (and much easier when you still don't have a baby to take care off). You have not mentioned where you live, but for example in Helsinki registration for some courses in the Autumn started last week and for some others it starts in a few days, and probably for almost all before end of August. Depending on popularity, a course may come full in a few days or even few minutes after the registration period starts.

Immigration are suspicious bastards. With the above information they could easily come to the same conclusions as we.
It really looks like a set up.

Some people have highly frustratingly gone and deleted their old posts after they got their answers, leaving only the replies left, which I consider is against the idea of a public message board. I definitely do not recommend you do that, but in case you do not want to be identified with certainty by anybody who happens to know you now or in the future, you might consider editing the name of your local home town out. Small enough place that I fell certain that there can be only one like you...

I pray they forget such rubbish and stick to their heads, this with me being one of the people who have to chip in to various benefits you would be cashing in should you be permitted residence here.

No really. Give me few good reasons why you would be benefit FOR Finland, instead of wanting to benefit FROM Finland....

So what kind of work you can do? Hmm? Go on, astonish me with doctor's lisence which is valid in Finland...
Haven't got one? Too bad. Well, at least you speak and write fluent Finnish eh? Not that either... Damn, sounds like you are pretty much as useful as thousands of other jobless foreigners in Finland! Living off the dole and complaining how Finland is horrible place since we expect you to be able to communicate in local language, and even have proper credentials for jobs!

As for wealth, I know Finland is not in top 10 of wealthiest in Europe, but compared to Kenya we are rolling in dough so to speak. Not to mention that we are currently only remaining AAA-country with stable outlook in Eurozone.

And last but not least, Finland is most likely only place you may have any chance to immigrate into.

Well, in the end, for better of worse that does not really matter if the authorities think the relationship is genuine. On the positive side, the employment situations of Kenyans in Finland is relatively good, mainly of course because paperless people from there are not given residence permits just because they say "pleaase..."

Which is what she is hoping in her statement that she hopes migri use their hearts. I would prefer the opposite. These "relationships" should have more requirements added to them. Say, 15 year mandatory marriage and cohabitation period.

Really, and your sales pitch to land an RP in those would be...

Oh Finland is (or was for 2011) in top ten for gross domestic product per capita both in absolute and more significantly purchasing power parity. Finland is capital wise relatively poor country due to lack of domestic capital when it was very rapidly modernized after WWII. Lack of domestic capital can at least partially be traced to Swedish crown and feudal nobility sucking the land dry for centuries.
