Residence permit thru spouse decision made

they replied your decision has been made and sent to the embassy in delhi and to contact them if they dont contact you within 2 weeks.

If I read this what immigration said, you have to contact embassy Finland in India to know the decision, if they dont contact you within 2 weeks. So its mean the Finnish embassy will contact you maybe next week ..and so on. But If during 2 weeks embassy didnt call you then you must call the embassy to ask the decision.

Normally, the applicant will receive the decision letter, and then they will order the card, and applicant have to wait for 2 weeks to get the RP card.

We cant say positive or negative. The possibility still fifty fifty even though your wife is Native Finn.

May I know how long your relationship with your wife before married? already 2 years , less or more ?

Did embassy already took your finger print ?
My opinion if embassy didnt took your finger print yet, and the decision already made by migri. I feel doubt if is it positive.
Cause as you are from India (Third country non EU) , i dont think so easy like that the process even though your wife is Native Finn.
But if at the end you get a positive result , I think you just the very lucky one......., cause they dont ask u for finger print !!

my finger prints were taken in the embassy when i submited the passport and the application for my RP ! we have been in a relationship since dec 2009 and got married in may 2012 here in india . now we are living here in goa india .

OR IF THE DECISION WAS NEGATIVE THEY WOULD HAVE CONTACTED ME ON WEDNESDAY ASKING ME TO COME AND COLLECT MY PASSPORT ???

What I know, immigration will never saying the decision result by phone.
because you applied through Finnish embassy, its mean you will get the decision result from there.
So my suggestion, just be patient and wait the call.

when i called the embassy they said call us in 2 weeks and we will let you know . so i didnt quite understand that fact . i guess if the decision was negative they would ask me to collect my passport because they have had it for 3 months. and im sure they dont want to keep it for longer if its negative !

Card deliveries to the Finnish embassies in these countries will take longer, but generally no more than three weeks from the date of the positive decision.

No one knows from this forum the real result, until you see by yourself the letter from Embassy.
Just be patient. Its just my own opinion is positive. Maybe im wrong ...
