I've been taking my kids to a Tunisian guy in Kallio, on Kolmas linja, costs 10 euros for
their haircut and I'm more than pleased. Woman's cuts are 25, but I've never cut my
hair there (yet) because I cut my hair once or twice a year.

AFAIR, the name of the place is:

I am so goddamn frustrated again - you'd think Finland is jampacked with barbershops - and again visited a dozen and NO TIME or closed in the summer. Goddamnit I live next door to three and "come next week". I want it *NOW* not in 3 hours or tomorrow, *NOW*. Damn, I'll let it grow or get me a shave with a razor so I can scare the bejesus out of people. My hair has a tendency to drop off by itself anyways.
Cheers, Hank W.

Calm down Hank. It just takes a little bit of planning. Make an appointment well in advance and while there make your next one. This way you will see the same stylist every time and she/he will get to know your exact needs and you will develop a close relationship. Before you realize you'll be chatting away your problems. It's good to talk 8)

APPOINTMENT FOR A HAIRCUT jesus on a dinosaur. Do you make appointments for eating or going to the toilet? I have the 10 minutes to wasted right there and then, I don't make f* appointments unless I get paid for them. Well in advance? Who the hell will remind me of that? I don't remember irrelevant things and if more relevant things come up I'll be somewhere else right then.
Cheers, Hank W.

It takes you 10 minutes to use the toilet? :o You have to eat more fiber.

Hank: try the place I posted. I've never made an appointment with
them and even though they're always packed, they manage to fit
people in anyways.

And while you're waiting, you can read up about all the latest from
India and Bollywood :D

Hi,
My wife just opened a nice hair salon in Töölo and the prices are reasonable. She speaks perfect English. Just ask for Maria:) Piia is also good but does not speak English.

I had my hair done at Hius Studio Maxim yesterday. I saw the post on here about this salon and thought I would give it a go. I had highlights done on my thick, dark curly hair. I had heard some horror stories about hairstylists here in Finland really ruining my kind of hair and at top price, so I was a bit scared about what might happen but I must say that I was more than pleased with the results. Maria did my hair. She's so nice and unlike the past hairstylists I have been to recently, she really listens to what you want done. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who reads this thread. The prices are reasonable, the place is comfortable and like I said she knows what she's doing. Thanks Hius Studio Maxim! :D
