Swimming Classes for Toddlers

Post by carolinemaher » Thu Feb 14, 2008 4:56 pm

Hi, does anyone have any tips on where to find a good swimming class for kids, I don't mean baby swimming, I mean a group for 2 year olds +, preferably in East Helsinki? I keep getting passed around from one person to the next on the phone and being referred back to someone who deals with small babies (3 months-2 years old groups). Maybe some of you have good experience of a particular place, be nice to find one. Thanks.

I asked in the Itakeskus pool - they were the ones sent me on wild goose chase! But I'll definitely try simsalabim, looks promising! Cheers.

Hi Caroline
I know they have swimming classes at the Kontula pool but not sure if it is for 2 years and up.
Will go in and check with them for you though.
See you next Monday at Andreas.

Hi,
you can try http://www.pikkudelfiinit.fi/ for swimming classes.

I used to take my son for swimming classes organized by them.
More details you can find at there website above.

Hi Deliagc, are you on facebook? There's a facebook group called Expat parents in Helsinki (http://www.facebook.com/groups/131063933618519/) you might find some help in finding things to do and people to meet on there.
