Anybody applied for Finnish citizenship in 2009 and got it?

I applied for citizenship in March 2012. Based on the new rules one can get the decision ranging from as less as 3 months to 18 months. In the meanwhile, how can one find self application being complete and clear vs having issues? Has anyone who has applied for citizenship in 2012 already got the decision yet?

I got the decision for citizenship today. Can i go and cancel my PR tomorrow and apply for passport already tomorrow? or do i have to wait to get the decisions updated to all databases?

In fact, when you cancel your PR they will advise you to get your new Finnish passport immediately.

At the poliisi when i cancelled my PR, they said that i can get normal passport request only via appointments. Since i did not want to come back again, i went and got the pikapassi by paying some extra.

Did they called you or sent letter asking for your travel and job? How long does it take to receive decision after they receive those information ?
