Vacancies in the field of culture (hei! btw ^^)

Hey guys,

I am completely new in this forum, was already looking for some "Let-me-introduce-myself"-Thread, but couldn't find any, so my first post here will be basically about the reason why I registered here
Nontheless I'll first of all write some stuff about myself, all the information you need to -maybe- be able to help me.

Currently I'm a student of Ethnology, Art History & Heritage Conservation & will be graduating this summer.
I studied one semester in Turku and met a Finnish student in Helsinki, with whom I am in a relationship since that (so since 1,5 years now). Since my return in winter 2010 I took Finnish classes (before I learned Swedish) & also wrote my final thesis about a Finnish topic (Guess what it was ^^). For the research I stayed another 6 weeks constantly in Finland & also at my boyfriend's place.
Since neither me nor him really like the fact of being separated 3/4 of our time, I am now trying to find a job in Finland.
(Not again one of those you might think )
I've contacted people I know (a former teacher from university, a contact I got through a teacher here at my home-university, an employee in the archive in which I did my researches) and asked them for some tipps, but got no answer.

I know it is completely unrealistic, but nontheless I wanted to try it and ask here, wether there is ANYBODY working in the cultural field (museum, archive, library, depot, cultural offices, tourist industry,...) and being able to give me some advice for my search for a job in Finland...

Now I am done with university and even though I have already written dozens of applications, I still wasn't successful so far.
I am really open to many things, I DO have some Swedish and Finnish knowledge, am fluent in 2 languages and have pracitcal experience in different fields - gaaah, why can't it just work out?!

Indeed an other one of those.

You are experience the problems in finding work you have when you're not fluent in Finnish.
This we explain over and over again (which gives this forum sometimes an anti immigrant feeling but it is unfortunately the reality).
There are no easy shortcuts, just keep on trying till you get lucky.
