Its a little difficult because you need a FIN ID Number to get a good taxcard. If you dont have a FIN ID number then you can still get a taxcard if you have a employer contract, also the employer contract needs to be more than 4 months i think or they will stamp your tax card with 35% tax.
Bad if you need pocket money to live here but good if your costs are low here because 35% is like a bank account with no interest, you just need to submit the proper details to the estoni tax office at the end of the financial year and you will get the difference(i guess 14% return).

Sorry. First you need to fix your 'fluent' English. Maybe it's just your written English which is !"#¤%.
Maybe try cleaning on the cruise ships?

sure you can find a job here if you try hard enough! just dont be lazy, take the initiative and look for cleaning, blokkari or aupair. you might be lucky to find some estonian, french or russian family. for the other aforementioned jobs, you need intermediate english and basic finnish. estonians usually pick up the language quite fast, within 3 months you can handle the basics. (not saying it's easy though) plus i dont really see anything wrong about your english, trust me, most of the Fins speak quite broken english with pretty strong accent

There are some formalities to sort out, but they are not a problem.cors187 wrote:Its a little difficult because you need a FIN ID Number to get a good taxcard. If you dont have a FIN ID number then you can still get a taxcard if you have a employer contract, also the employer contract needs to be more than 4 months i think or they will stamp your tax card with 35% tax.
The real problem is that he is yet another "I don't speak Finnish and I don't have any qualifications to offer" person looking for a job. Getting a job in Finland will be as hard as getting a job in Estonia for him, perhaps even harder since he doesn't even live here.
