Ok this are my fvorite places in istanbul
1: taksim ( there are good restaurnts cafe and bars
Day time to visit a restaurant are the kebab restaurant of course, but in evening
You can go its called " cicek pasaji" . There is famous with raki and fish
) yammiiii
And places called meyhane or ocakbasi
Here some tips , guler ocakbasi, adana ocakbasi
And for meyhne, as i told cicek pasaji or kuvuk meyhane or bahceli meyhane
About bars, there are soo many
it depends what kind of music you like
I used to go to kemanci , rock bar
Do you have family , kids?
There are also places to go with kids, but i have to say
I had no kids when i was there
You have to check the weather always !
If it is raining i can only reommend not to drive far or take any vehicle at bosphorus
It is not so comfortable
But if there is a good weather take a tour at bosphourus, from besiktas or galata or ortaköy
You have to look there are two kinds
One luxus and one wich is cheap
