Hi, i've just came off a holiday in finland and i want to know what the thing was i ate so i can make one myself because it was so tasty
basically it was a puff pastry with a marzipan thing inside and loads of cream and icing sugar, but the pastry was different from normal if you get what i mean?
any help will be greatly appreciated

what was it that i ate?

Yeah, you need to define "normal" first

puff pastry... cream... a
tuulihattu???? The pastrys more 'solid' than crumbly.

Marzipan, cream, icing sugar... laskiaispulla is all that pops to my mind, but this is not the season for those.
edit. gnnn. missed the puff pastry bit.

definitely was a tuulihattu, i got it from some little cafe and it was so good.
