I am resident and employed at the moment with a firm in Finland, but i also have potentials of running my own Entrepreneurship business in Finland and also want to continue in my current job. All my business transactions are to be transacted outside of Finland to non E.U COUNTRIES and it is not in competition with my current firm, so which means i can work from my house and use my off days and free times for my meetings here in Finland and my business partners overseas .
My questions are ;
- Can i use my current house addresss as my business address or contacts in Finland, as i will also have my office in a non E.U country ?
- Can i register my own Entrepreneurship company in Finland and also working at the same time with my current employer ?
- What are the implications regarding to taxes and other business registrations issues of this sort ?
Your advices will be appreciated.
Entrepreneurship in Finland
Re: Entrepreneurship in Finland
Are you a non-EU national? If so you need proof of residency in the EU in order to register your business in Finland.
You can use your home address.
You can keep working as a salaried employee of the company you are currently working for.
Your total income will be taxed as personal income in Finland since this is considered to be your domicile for tax purposes.
Your company, if registered in Finland, will be liable for Finnish company tax on the profits.
You will not have to charge VAT on your exports outside the EU.
You have to decide what form your company should take: Oy (limited), Toiminimi (sole trader) etc
